“I will give them a 3 for how easy it is to sign up and understandable questions. Also the medical providers are friendly. What keeps this from being a 4-5 is the shipping delay. First dose said 3-5 days and I got it in 8 days. I'm now on my second dose, money taken out of my bank 2 weeks ago and I'm 3 days past my medication taking day. This is 8 days after my new dose was approved by a N.P. that I had a video chat with. I'm sure this will affect the weight loss!!”

“Signing up is easy. Provider called, payment was issued and medication was shipped. It was when I was charged for something I did not ever get that things went very sideways. Customer service answers without checking full history, they provided multiple texts and emails, all from different people, all saying something different. I paid for something over two weeks ago that I did not get, and each person I talk to says "no refund policy" (didn't ask for one) or that I already got the medication. So if you want initial service with no ongoing correct follow up, this is the provider for you.”

“My first bottle of NAD that I received was 50 mg. I was to take 20 units Monday through Friday. I only had enough medication for two weeks. I then called and requested an increase to 1000 mg of NAD and I am waiting for it to be delivered. I want to be sure that I will receive enough for 30 days. When I went online to the chat, the AI kept saying the order was delivered. I had to call in and get things straightened out. Now I am waiting for the replacement order to ship.”

embody is our pick in this matchup — flat, transparent pricing with LegitScript-certified 503A pharmacies. Choose DirectMeds only if its strength (fast shipping and a low entry price, no insurance needed) matters more to you than price and our overall rating.

How we compare — and how to read this

We weigh the factors that actually change a patient’s experience: real price (and whether it’s compounded or branded), the medications and formulations on offer, shipping, pharmacy accreditation and the clinician model, insurance stance, and commitment. We name a top pick for most people, then lay the trade-offs out in full so you can override it when your priorities or insurance point the other way. Pricing is provider-reported and moves often — and compounded-drug availability shifts with FDA shortage status — so confirm the current details on the provider’s own site before enrolling. Affiliate relationships never change a program’s placement. This page is educational, not medical advice; see our disclaimer.
